Royal Enfield Austro Classic Fault Codes

Royal Enfield Austro Classic motorcycles have engines, which are made up of many different parts. These parts must work together in order for the engine to function. A problem with one of the parts can make the engine not run. There are many different parts that make up an engine. The following royal enfield austro classic faults are the list of some of the parts of a motorcycle engine.

The oil level of Royal Enfield Austro Classic should be the same level in the dipstick, even when the engine is cold. You can check the oil level by removing the dipstick, holding the dipstick in your hand, and then reinserting the dipstick. Then, you’ll be able to see where the oil level is.

Royal Enfield Austro Classic Faults :

The warning light comes on when one of the various sensors has detected an abnormal condition in the Royal Enfield Austro Classic engine's performance. For example, if the oil pressure drops below a certain threshold or if the air/fuel ratio rises beyond a certain point, then this would cause an immediate alert from your vehicle's engine management system.

We have listed below a few basic checks in case your motorcycle is not functioning. If in case the problem is not rectified after these checks, it is necessary to get the motorcycle checked by a Royal Enfield Authorised Dealer / Service Center to rectify the problem and to ensure trouble free performance.

Engine Starts BUT shuts off immediatley Engine shuts off as soon as throttle is closed. Idling RPM setting in Carburetor is disturbed. Reset the Idling RPM screw in Carburetor.
Carburetor Flooded. Shut off fuel tap, gently tap Carburetor bottom and reopen fuel tap. Check if flooding has stopped
Engine Misfires & Runs Erratically / Stops 1. Typically happens after a Refill / Adulterated / Water in Fuel
2. Motorcycle driven in Low gear / High RPM / Crowded places for long time.
Drain out entire fuel and Refill with fresh fuel from a reputed filling station.
Excessive Engine temperature. Switch OFF Engine and allow to cool down.
Poor Pickup Engine RPM raises improportinately to motorcycle speed
